Independent Vantage Online consultancy

I have worked with the vast majority of dealers on Vantage Online, mostly in managed print. Around half my work is on the platform, and roughly nine in ten of my clients run it. If you use it too, this is where I can be most useful, fastest.

Six years at Asolvi

I spent six years at Asolvi as a senior consultant and implementation manager, and for a while as customer success manager alongside those roles. I worked closely with the development and support teams and the other consultants, contributed heavily to the support documentation and to integration projects, and was responsible for mass-migrating clients from Asolvi's legacy software onto Vantage Online.

So I know the platform from the inside, and I have a great deal of respect for it. These days I bring that experience to dealers directly, as an independent consultant.

Where I help Vantage Online users

Usually the work either side of the software itself, which means getting data in, getting information out, and getting people using it properly.

Migrating into Vantage Online

From Evatic, e-Automate, spreadsheets, or a system nobody has fully understood in years. Extraction, mapping, cleansing and trial loads, so go-live isn't the first time you see the data in place.

Reporting and analysis

Contract and machine-level profitability, service performance, engineer utilisation. Building the reports that answer the question a director actually asked.

Configuration and best practice

Plenty of dealers pay for far more of the platform than they use. A review of how you have it set up often turns up capability you already own.

Training and adoption

Service desk to board level. Especially useful after an acquisition, a restructure, or when a team has quietly drifted back to their own spreadsheets.

Merging two Vantage datasets

Acquired a dealer who is also on the platform? Consolidating customer, contract and equipment records without losing history is a project in its own right.

Integrations

DCAs, toner suppliers, accounting packages. I have worked with a lot of the partners in this space and know where the joins tend to fail.

The Vantage Online community group

I run an independent group on LinkedIn for people who use Vantage Online day to day. It is a place to ask questions, share what works, and find out you are not the only one wrestling with something.

It is free, it is not run by or for Asolvi, and everyone using the platform is welcome.

Not on Vantage Online?

I have worked with a lot of the software in this space, especially as part of migrations to Vantage Online and 2serv, so it is still worth getting in touch.

Independent, and not affiliated. Sarah Fenn Consulting is not a partner, reseller or agent of Asolvi, and is not in competition with them. Vantage Online is their product and their trade mark, and I use the name only to describe the software I work with. I have a continued good relationship with Asolvi and believe in being open with anyone considering my services.
